ALTERRA MOUNTAIN COMPANY ANNOUNCES GOPRO AS THE OFFICIAL CAMERA OF ITS MOUNTAIN DESTINATIONS

DENVER, CO, October 4, 2018 - As the winter season approaches, Alterra Mountain Company and GoPro are joining forces to ensure memories made on and off the mountain can be easily captured and shared. Alterra Mountain Company and GoPro have just signed an agreement that establishes GoPro as the official camera of all Alterra Mountain Company destinations.

The collaboration provides GoPro with maximized exposure at Alterra Mountain Company destinations, through four season branding opportunities on destinations’ websites, trail maps, digital screens, window wraps and more. Additionally, select social media content from Alterra Mountain Company destinations will be developed using GoPro products, with images and videos shot on location using the recently released HERO7 lineup. GoPro will also have presence at destination events throughout the seasons, as well as enhance marketing and hospitality opportunities at Alterra Mountain Company destinations.

The partnership will be launched with the release of a new video shot at all Alterra Mountain Company destinations, captured entirely on GoPro cameras.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with GoPro, a brand that shares our passion for the outdoors and inspires millions of users to capture their best day on and off the mountain,” said Ryan Blanchard, Director of Brand Partnerships. “We are excited to join forces with GoPro and further allow our guests to celebrate the moment and share their experiences at our iconic mountain destinations.”

“GoPro is excited to partner with Alterra Mountain Company,” said GoPro CMO Todd Ballard. “Some of the most amazing outdoor content we’ve seen has come from Alterra Mountain Company destinations. This partnership is a natural and obvious fit for GoPro, and we’re excited to see what content is created in the coming months.”
